HOW THE BREATH TRAINER FLOW-X WORKS
It works by exhaling through the device. The air makes the small, lightweight foam ball float/move. Now the goal is to keep the ball floating/spinning/moving for as long as possible, depending on what you have chosen to work on in relation to your exhalation... in other words, whether you are blowing with more or less force.
So, you can train the length and control of your exhalation. There can be many reasons why this is beneficial for you. If you are a singer or use your voice a lot, it is necessary to be able to control and use exhalation in breathing.
If you need an overall better balance in your breathing, become better at exhaling, achieve a better balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide, have a deeper breath, stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and vagus nerve, and much more... then it is crucial to work on your exhalations.
IN GENERAL, WE USE 3 DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES WHEN USING THE BREATH TRAINER FLOW-X
- You breathe gently and without much force, causing the ball to "spin" on top of its "basket." Here, it should spin as long as possible, calmly and steadily.
- You breathe more forcefully, causing the ball to lift from the basket. The stronger the breath, the higher it goes. You decide how high (how forcefully) it should be. Then, you try to keep it there for as long as possible.
- You breathe even more forcefully, trying to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible... and then it should land back on the basket. All of the above exercises can be used by both children and adults.
